The GTA lays claim to more than 20,000 residents of Peruvian ancestry; Peru echoes of a glorious history, rich heritage, and unique sights draw visitors to Peru around the world. At the Festival, visitors have the opportunity to experience being ‘Peruvian for the Day’, but the Festival is much more than a celebration of the Canadian Peruvian heritage — it is also a celebration of Canada’s multiculturalism. We have diversity of Multicultural dishes at the heart of Toronto so that our audience can enjoy tasty multi-ethnic dishes. Yes, there is Food, Food, and more Food. There will be loads of free, family-friendly entertainment on our Celebrity Stage will feature everything from Peruvian, Latin American and Multicultural folk, from Pop to Salsa, merengue and much more.
