The 2020 season’s Indie Fridays - The Interviews has come to an end, see you next year!

Every year, Yonge-Dundas Square hosts a series of concerts for 10 weeks in the summer: Indie Fridays. This year, Indie Fridays is going virtual for its 10th anniversary, but with a twist! Yonge-Dundas Square (YDS) will host Indie Fridays: The Interviews with Rudy Blair, beginning September 4, as a 10-week Toronto artist showcase. The series will feature 20-minute weekly audio interviews with some of the best indie artists from around the city and will premiere on the YDS YouTube page. As always, Indie Fridays will be free to tune in to and will cover a wide range of musical genres. Featured artists include: Command Sisters, Monowhales, Troy Junker and more. See below for the full lineup.

The artist lineup had been curated by past Indie Fridays host and Toronto local, Rudy Blair. Rudy has been in the broadcasting industry for almost 30 years in both radio and television. He's interviewed over 7,000 artists, including some of the biggest names in music like Beyonce, Jay Z, Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry, Lorde, Gordon Lightfoot, Tony Bennett and Tim McGraw. For more information on Rudy, check out his website here.
